Social Distance (Vinnie254)

Does it exist?
To some extent, Yes
No! It doesn’t!
I used to glance at each other.
Situated in front of the clergyman
Read the oath, agreed, became one,
Death does us apart.

He majored in minority
Time elapsed as days pass
Trust died, loyalty vanished
Couldn’t stop the world from turning
Sided to be apart,
Scars in my heart.

I have a little for my future
Learned to be firm
It won’t be the same
Perhaps they will align
In our favor someday
