In the darkest of nights
We still rely on the moonlight,
That’s why I sit silently
Since harsh words are profanity to a battered soul
Advertisements
Eyes might be windows to the soul
But mine is like my mouth, closed
If you ask me why I am silent,
I will tell you that’s a book cover;
Advertisements
That tints the contents that are in my insides
But almost everyone likes to play judge
That’s why life is either a loose or win
But sometimes my silence breaks silence,
When I’m angry at life
When my prayers lack to open doors
And the doors of hell break loose
I lack nothing, but a shrill cry
Then, silence.
