Decision Making (Donnel)

First we have to know what decision making is. This is simply the act of making a decision. Sometimes we make logical decisions and other times we make emotional or irritating decisions. Now I would like to argue that on why we make poor decisions and how to solve this problem.

The first problem comes in where by we don’t compare between our present and our future before we get in making decisions.
Most times We have a tendency to care too much about our present selves and not enough about our future selves. If you want to beat procrastination and make better long-term decisions, then you have to find a way to make your present self act in the best interest of your future. This will make you be able to argue on both sides and come up with the best decision.

The other thing is lack of mental model.
The best way to improve your decision making skills is to learn for your own using the daily basis. This is defined as mental model. Where by you will be able to explain why the world works the way it does. Each mental model is a concept that helps us make sense of the world and offers a way of looking at the problems of life.
Now with those a few tips one will be able to make a better decision.
